Recreation, Arts & Community Services

The Recreation, Arts & Community Services Department is working diligently to make decisions regarding youth programs and summer camps during the COVID-19 pandemic that will adhere to state and local guidance from health officials in order to determine the most appropriate actions.  During this time, the Recreation, Arts & Community Services Department is working on plans for limited summer program opportunities to offer the community. We ask for your continued patience during this time and will make sure to announce program opportunities as they arise.

COVID-19 Update: Town of Danville Recreation, Arts & Community Services

In keeping with the guidelines of the latest Public Health Order from the State of California and the Contra Costa County Health Services during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, the Town of Danville Recreation, Arts and Community Services Department has cancelled or postponed all upcoming Spring recreation programs through May 31, 2020 and may extend to a further date based on future public health orders.

Refunds of Spring programs will be made automatically and credited to each account.  Participants will receive email confirmations.  For those who would like to receive a refund in the same form as the original payment was made, send an email to recreation@danville.ca.gov to begin that process. We appreciate your patience as we process these cancellations.

Even though our facilities are temporarily closed, our Recreation, Arts and Community services team want to help you find the fun.  Check out our website www.danville.ca.gov/findthefun for creative ideas, games, and more to help you find the fun and get through the shelter in place.
