The Administrative Services Department encompasses various functions that support internal and external Town operations ranging from human resources and finance to economic development and information technology.

ADU Information
An Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) is a self-contained living unit that is usually smaller than the main home on the same property. It contains a kitchen, bathroom, and a place to sleep. They can be attached to the main home or a separate detached building.

Capital Projects
Every year the Town adopts a five year Capital Improvement Program budget (CIP). The CIP budget is separate from the city operating budget and funds public infrastructure projects to enhance the quality of life for Danville residents and visitors.

Code Enforcement helps maintain community preservation by working closely with residents, business owners, outside agencies, and other Town Departments and Divisions to eliminate health, safety, and public nuisance violations that adversely affect the quality of life in Danville.

Emergency Preparedness
The key to surviving any emergency or disaster situation is planning. Discuss emergency plans with each household member. Adult and teenage members of the household should share in the actual preparation decisions. Be sure to consider any special needs, disabilities, or particular hazards in your home. Make sure everyone knows where the closest fire station, medical facility and police station are located.
