Fiscal Budget

Careful financial planning has been a hallmark of the Town’s since its incorporation in 1982.  The Town continues its practice of spending within its means, maintaining prudent reserves, and projecting revenues and expenditures ten years into the future.

The 2022/23 Operating Budget and Capital Improvement Program (CIP) allows the Town to continue delivering superior municipal services and fund priority projects in the Danville community.  Total revenues of $46 million are forecast, with expenditures of $36.9 million. Appropriations for capital projects total $18 million.

The Budget and CIP was adopted by the Town Council at its June 8 meeting after public study sessions on May 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2022.
