Planning oversees how land and buildings are used for commercial and residential projects. Development proposals are reviewed to ensure projects are consistent with Danville’s small town atmosphere while in accordance with the Town’s General Plan, Zoning Ordinance, and State and Federal laws. Planning makes recommendations to the Town Council, Commissions, and Boards on local development projects.
