Single-Day Booth Spaces Available at the Danville Farmers’ Market
Whether you're looking for extra promotion or are considering being a vendor, the Merchant at the Market Program is free and available to Danville businesses. Each week, two booth spaces are reserved at the Danville Farmers' Market for single-day use. Additional information is available here.
How to Use the Booth
- Businesses may use the booth to sell items they have available at their storefront.
- Businesses may not sell agricultural items such as produce, flowers, cheese, etc.
- Vendors selling food items must obtain all necessary health permits and abide by health department regulations.
- Businesses may sell traditional retail products as well as non-agricultural products such as baked goods, organic meats, specialty drinks, and prepackaged and prepared foods.
- Businesses whose storefront produces or sells beer or wine may sell pre-packaged alcohol only (no tasting).
- Service businesses, such as medical, health, insurance, and financial may provide information about their businesses but may not provide service on-site.
- Non-partisan government agencies directly serving the Town of Danville may participate to share information about their services, as space allows.
- The merchant-focused program is not intended to serve non-profit organizations.
How to Participate
- Program is open to Danville-based businesses with a current Town of Danville business license.
- Reservations are free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Merchant provides table, 10x10 tent and other items, as desired.
- Electricity is not available at the booth.
- Must provide liability waiver and proof of insurance.
- Must be present for the entire market day, setting up by 8:30 a.m. and leaving after 1 p.m.
