Call for Performers Age 50 and Older for Danville Variety Show 

Community invited to share their talents and audition for the Senior Variety Show 

 The Town of Danville is seeking performers for the 5th annual Senior Variety Show. Auditions for the show will be held Friday, July 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Village Theatre and Art Gallery.  

The Senior Variety Show will be September 16, 1:30-3 p.m., and both performers and emcees are welcome to audition. The fast-paced show includes a variety of 3- to 5-minute acts, and previous acts have included dance, singing, musical performances, stand-up comedy, clogging, skits, and poetry readings. Performers must be age 50 or older, but do not need to be Danville residents. Tickets will go on sale for the Variety Show in early August, with the show scheduled for Saturday, September 16 from 1:30 to 3 p.m.
