The Town of Danville is participating in the 29th annual Bay Area Bike to Work Day. On May 18, the Town of Danville will participate by hosting one of many Energizer Stations across the County. Riders can stop by as they bike to work or just enjoy a ride in honor of Bike Month. They can visit the Town's Energizer Station to pick up a free canvas tote, fuel up on goodies, and celebrate with fellow cyclists. For those new to bicycle commuting, visit 511 Contra Costa’s Bike to Work Day page to locate additional energizer stations, plan your route to work, and get tips on preparing to ride. Danville's station will be open from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. along the Iron Horse Trail behind Lunardi's Market. Details are available at 511cc.org/btwd.
