[ARCHIVED] The Spirit of Ray Charles heads to the Village Theatre

 The Spirit of Ray Charles heads to the Village Theatre

On September 29th at 8:00 p.m., The Ray Charles Project will perform at the Village Theatre located at 233 Front Street to bring the songbook of the great Ray Charles to Downtown Danville.  Featuring a veteran crew of performers, the band consists of Chris Cain on guitar and vocals along with singers Tony Lindsay and Glenn Walter. David K. Mathews will be on keyboards, Dewayne Pete on bass, and Deszon Claiborne on drums.     Tony Lindsay was a featured guest in Danville’s Music in the Park Series in 2022 with the band Funky Latin Orchestra.  Chris Cain also recently performed at the Village Theatre in the Spring of 2022.

Tickets for this concert are $25 online and $30 at the door and can be purchased at www.danville.ca.gov/vtshows
