[ARCHIVED] Front Street to Close for Music in the Park

Front Street to Close for Final

Music in the Park Event on Danville Town Green

Part of Front Steet in Downtown Danville will close on Saturday, August 6, 2022, for the summer's final Music in the Park event. Front Street will be closed in both directions from 4:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. between the Village Theatre Municipal Parking Lot and the Danville Community Center and Library parking lot. Both parking lots will remain open and accessible. Because of the high pedestrian traffic associated with this event, motorists are advised to use caution within the parking lots and surrounding areas.

The last Music in the Park of the summer will be held on the Danville Town Green at 420 Front Street from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., where Beat Frequency will be playing contemporary hits. The event is free, and participants should bring blankets and chairs.
