[ARCHIVED] May the 4th Be With You

May the 4th Be With You

A day to celebrate all things Star Wars

This year marks the 7th anniversary of the Town’s annual May the 4th Be With You celebration. Families and fans of all ages can join the force on Wednesday, May 4th, as the Town of Danville hosts a day to celebrate all things Star Wars.
Starting at 11:00 a.m., community members can stop by the Danville Community Center to pick up a free scavenger hunt list and look for Star Wars characters at participating Downtown Danville businesses. The first 100 participants to complete the hunt will receive a grab bag of galactic treasures.
Parents can sign up young Padawans for Jedi Training to advance their skills on their path to becoming a Jedi. Jedi Training will take place on the Town Green from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Pre-registration is required. The cost is $5 per child. The event will include activities, crafts, and a costume contest for the most out-of-this-world costumes. A few lucky Padawans will be picked from a raffle for a chance to train with Master Andy Zandy. Visit to register.
Information regarding May 4th Be With You will be promoted through the Town of Danville’s social media channels, so make sure to follow the Town on Instagram and Facebook and visit the Town website.
