Keep Danville Merry & Bright this Holiday Season
Support local businesses
This year’s holiday campaign has launched, encouraging the community to support local businesses this holiday season, who are the heart of our community.
As part of this campaign, over 100 Danville merchants have participated in the “Danville Picks” Holiday Gift Guide to highlight promotions and hand-selected gift ideas designed to make it even easier to save money and time this holiday season. The guide will be delivered to over 55k households at the end of November in the Your Town Monthly publication. An online copy of the guide is currently available on the Town of Danville’s website, as well as on promotional posters with QR codes around Town that can be scanned to take you directly to the guide. For artists of all ages, we have created coloring sheets with lights and ornaments to complete and drop off at the Danville Senior Center to be displayed in the windows along Prospect Avenue.
For an unrivaled shopping experience, local businesses have created safe shopping experiences to fulfill everything on your holiday shopping list. Shopping local means most items can be purchased immediately, but many stores also provide online shopping, special orders, gift cards, and gift wrapping! With local retailers offering outstanding customer service and expert knowledge, plenty of free parking, and an astounding variety of dining options, Danville is the perfect shopping destination.
This holiday season, help to Keep Danville Merry & Bright by supporting local businesses. Help us spread the word by sharing the link to the guide with your friends and family.
“In Danville, small businesses are the heart of our community and merchants are working hard to continue to offer safe shopping experiences while still providing outstanding customer service and knowledge,” said Business and Economic Development Director Jill Bergman. “Many stores offer online shopping, gift cards, special orders, local delivery, curbside pick-up, and gift wrapping to make the experience as easy as possible.”
