[ARCHIVED] Get Movin' After Zoomin'

Get Movin’ After Zoomin’

Small groups afterschool program introduced

To help parents of school-aged children keep them active during the pandemic restrictions, the Town of Danville is offering a variety of programs for elementary and middle school aged children to participate in after a full day of virtual learning. Trained staff will create games and activities that will allow children and parents a break from their virtual learning environment.

Youth and tweens will get a chance to let their energy out after a full day of learning with socially distanced games, activities, arts & crafts, sports and more. Each pod will consist of a stable group of 12 children and two staff members.

The first session of after school pods begins September 8, 2020 from 3:30pm until 6:00pm. Days will vary per program but each program is three days a week for three consecutive weeks in the same pod. All participants are required to wear masks and tweens will be asked to bring their own laptop and headphones for school help.

Pre-registration is required and begins for residents on August 24, 2020 and non-residents on August 25, 2020. Pre-register at www.danville.ca.gov/recguide
