[ARCHIVED] Larry Brown Headlines First Comedy Show of 2020

Kick Off 2020 with Larry ‘Bubbles’ Brown!
First Comedy with Liz Grant & Friends set for January 17

After an unfortunate cancellation in 2019 due to illness, comedian Larry Brown is back at the Village Theatre to help bring in the first laughs of the New Year as part of the outstanding “Comedy with Liz Grant and Friends.”

Larry Brown, a San Francisco based comedian, is best known for his self-deprecating style of comedy. Brown has appeared on over 25 tv shows, including 2 appearances on Late Night with David Letterman. He is a regular performer in comedy clubs in both California and Las Vegas, and has frequently opened for comedians Dana Carvey and Dave Attell.

Also featured at this month’s show is Bay Area comedian Chad Optiz. Optiz brings the funny with a varied style of comedy combining one-liners, short stories, and songs. He is a regular comic at the Punch Line, Cobb’s, Rooster T. Feathers and San Jose Improv and has opened for David Cross, Tom Green, Bobcat Goldthwait and more.

Price of admission is $20 presale/$25 at the door. Tickets can be purchased online at www.danville.ca.gov/villagetheatre or at the Village Theatre Box Office, 233 Front St.
