[ARCHIVED] 'The Affordable Art Show' Exhibition Begins Oct 25

The Village Theatre Art Gallery Presents:

The Affordable Art Show

An exhibition featuring the artwork of 65 Bay Area Artists

Exhibition dates: October 25-December 17, 2019

With the idea that art is for everyone, the Town of Danville is pleased to present its first art exhibition emphasizing affordable art. All the artwork in The Affordable Art Show will be for sale, priced at $199 or less.

With so many works of art on display at the Village Theatre Art Gallery, visitors are sure to find something they like.  From landscapes to seascapes, abstract masterpieces to depictions of cuddly creatures, this exhibition includes a variety of media from paintings, encaustic works on panel, photography, and original sculptures made of marble, fine stone and more.

Since this is the last exhibition before the holiday season, it is a great way to find that one of a kind gift for a teacher, co-worker, friend or loved one. Come to the Village Theatre Art Gallery, 233 Front St, where there will be an array of artistic creations for every style and budget.

An opening reception for The Affordable Art Show will be held on Friday, October 25, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. The exhibition will run through December 17, 2019.  There will be live music, refreshments and a chance to meet the artists and learn about their artwork.  As always, the reception is free and open to the public.

The Village Theatre and Art Gallery is open to visitors Wednesday through Friday 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Saturday 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and an hour before every theatre performance as well as Monday and Tuesday by appointment. The Art Gallery is closed on Sundays.  Admission is free.
