Podva Farm House to Receive Commemorative Plaque

Presentation and unveiling set for September 27

Members of the community are invited to come out on September 27, 2019 to honor another of the Town of Danville’s historic buildings with a new commemorative plaque.

Members of the Heritage Resource Commission, Town Council, and Town staff will be on hand to unveil the plaque commemorating the history of the Podva Farm House at 809 Podva Road.

Town of Danville Principal Planner David Crompton said the plaque presentation continues a series of dedications designed to honor the Town’s historic sites.

“We are happy to be memorializing another great building,” Crompton said. “These events are a wonderful way to keep the history of our Town alive.”

The presentation of the new plaque will occur at 6:15 p.m., September 27, 2019
