[ARCHIVED] Mark Pitta Returns for Comedy with Liz Grant and Friends

Mark Pitta Returns to the Village Theatre

Pitta to headline September 20 Liz Grant Comedy Show

They say comedy is best in sets of three and that is certainly true for Comedy with Liz Grant and Friends’ third season in Danville, which is bringing Mark Pitta back for his third headlining appearance.  Mark your calendars for Friday September 20, at 7:30 pm for a returning favorite at the Village Theatre and Art Gallery, 233 Front Street.

The Village Theatre’s monthly series “Comedy with Liz Grant and Friends” started its third season in August and is now bringing back the talented, innovative, and irreverent Mark Pitta to the series.

Pitta has had multiple TV appearances including The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and later with Jay Leno, along with sets on Comedy Central and HBO.

Also featured this month is Regina Stoops, a Moth StorySlam winner and Pleasanton local.  Regina is known for her thought-provoking honesty and humor, filled with diversity, adversity, and suburban chaos.  She regularly performs at fundraisers, conferences, and comedy clubs throughout the country.

Price of admission is $25 at the door and $20 pre-sale.  Tickets can be purchased online at www.danville.ca.gov/villagetheatre or at the Village Theatre Box Office.

The Box Office is open Wednesday through Friday, 12pm to 5pm or call the box office line at (925) 314-3400.
