[ARCHIVED] Four Arrested After Chase Ends in Danville

Four Arrested Following Chase
Individuals arrested following neighborhood search


A high speed pursuit on I-680 ended with the arrest of four individuals by the Danville Police Department. According to Lt. Doug Muse, the incident began around 10:24 a.m. when the California Highway Patrol reported they were in pursuit of a red 2019 Dodge Charger. 

CHP lost contact with the vehicle, however a witness reported to police that the red Charger exited the freeway at El Cerro Boulevard, and parked on the side of the road. Four individuals abandoned the vehicle and fled into the neighborhood at Adobe Dr.

Officers from Danville PD, San Ramon PD, and the Sheriff’s Office conducted an intensive search of the area and with the assistance of witnesses at the scene were able to locate the four and take them into custody. 

Suspects are identified as:

            Tyreon Lang, 20, Oakland
            Jamont Baldwin, 19, Hayward
            Saree Lindhurst, 18, Oakland
            Tyetiana Radford-Chandler, 18, Oakland

Charges filed were:

Lang – Possession of a stolen vehicle, Probation violation, Resisting arrest
Baldwin – Possession of stolen vehicle, Probation violation, Resisting arrest
Lindhurst – Possession of a stolen vehicle
Radford-Chandler – Possession of a stolen vehicle, Probation violation

All four were transported to the Martinez Detention Facility.  

Further charges may be filed by the Berkeley and San Leandro Police Departments once they have completed their investigations.
