Peanuts is back at the Village Theatre

“You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” Opens May 24

This May, welcome Snoopy, Linus, Charlie Brown and all the Peanuts gang back to the Village Theatre with “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown.” Written by Clark Gesner, the show is based on the characters of Charles M. Schulz. Join Charlie Brown and the gang on an average day in their lives as they navigate through the joys and pitfalls of their childhood. Throughout the play Charlie Brown has a variety of experiences from love at first sight and chaotic baseball games to 5 cent psychiatry and Valentine’s Day Laments “Good Grief!”

This is the second show the Town of Danville has produced during the 2018/2019 season.  Mike Kasin returns as director to work with a talented cast that features both youth and adults making “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” perfect for the entire family.

The cast features: Alex Borja as Charlie Brown, Melissa Marie as Lucy Van Pelt, Hannah Conner as Sally Brown, Tyler Dean as Linus Van Pelt, Miles Preclaro as Schroeder and Hayley Kennen as Snoopy.  The show opens Memorial Day weekend, running from Friday, May 24, 2019 through Sunday, June 2, 2019.
