Local Danville Police representatives visit neighborhood events.
The Town of Danville announces its participation in the annual National Night Out event, taking place on Tuesday, August 6, from 6 to 9 p.m. This nationwide community-building campaign is designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while fostering a sense of community.
Participating neighborhoods must register with the National Night Out organization at www.natw.org. Then, to have a representative from the Danville Police Department visit their local event, organizers can visit www.danville.ca.gov/nno to register by July 19. The requested time frame for visits is not guaranteed, as representative visits will be based on calls for service and available resources.
