A Free Musical Extravaganza for Kids at the Danville Library & Town Green
The Town of Danville announces the return of Kidchella, a free summer music series for children and their families. This year’s series will take place June 26 and July 17 at the Danville Town Green.
Kidchella is an outdoor concert series for families with kids ages 0 to 11, held in partnership with the Danville Library. These events start with reading time at 11:15 a.m. and are followed by a music performance at noon on the Town Green and arts and crafts after the concert.
This year’s Kidchella performers are:
- Wednesday, June 26: The Banana Slug String Band
- Wednesday, July 17: Asheba
Kidchella is a free event that is open to the public and does not require any pre-registration to attend. Open seating area on the Town Green is on a first-come, first-served basis. Guests may bring portable outdoor chairs, food and drink. The Danville Town Green is located at 420 Front Street.
