Winning image will be featured on the cover of the Fall 2025 Activity Guide
The Town of Danville invites local photographers and community members to participate in the Rooted in Danville Photo Contest, running May 5 through 30. The winning image will be featured on the cover of the Fall 2025 Activity Guide, showcasing the rich history and character of the Danville community.
Participants are encouraged to submit original, unedited photographs of a historic location in Danville. Whether it’s a snapshot at one of the many Danville summer events, a candid moment at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley, or a beloved park, the goal is to celebrate places that represent Danville’s unique heritage. Images may feature people and pets but must reflect actual photography. Photoshopped or heavily edited images will not be considered.
Entries must be submitted via email to jwallner@danville.ca.gov in high-resolution JPEG format, with a minimum size of 2625 x 3075 pixels. Only one image may be submitted per person.
Following the submission deadline, a panel of Town of Danville staff will review all eligible entries. The winning photograph will be revealed in the Fall 2025 Activity Guide, scheduled to mail by July 30, and will include photo credit for the photographer.
