Witness the evolution of art at Breaking Rules from April 12 through June 13
The Town of Danville invites art enthusiasts to experience Breaking Rules, an innovative new exhibition at the Village Theatre Art Gallery, running from April 12 through June 13.
Featuring artists Meg MacLeod, Suzanne Lewis, Jane Yuen Corich, Mira M. White, and Kathryn M. Wills, Breaking Rules delves into the creative process of layering, excavation, and defying artistic conventions. An opening reception will be held April 12 from 5 to 7 p.m., offering the public an opportunity to meet the artists and gain insight into their unconventional approaches. Light refreshments will be served.
The Village Theatre & Art Gallery building dates back to 1913 and has been part of the community since its start as the Grange Hall. The building hosts quarterly art exhibitions and numerous live performances annually.
