Expedited Recruitment
The following positions are part of an expedited recruitment process:
- Bicycle Advisory Commission
- Two vacant positions for terms ending June 30, 2026.
- Heritage Resource Commission
- One vacant position for a term ending December 31, 2028.
- One vacant position for a term ending December 31, 2027.
- One vacant architect position for a term ending December 31, 2027.
Applications are due by Thursday, February 20, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Interviews will be held the morning of Tuesday, March 11 and the afternoon of Tuesday, March 18. Appointments will be made following interviews.

- One vacant position for a term ending June 30, 2026.
- One available two-year Youth Representative term ending June 30, 2027.

- Senior Advisory Commission
- Two available four-year terms ending June 30, 2029.
- Design Review Board
- One vacant position for a term ending December 31, 2028.
- Danville Poet Laureate
- One available two-year term ending June 30, 2027.
- Youth Poet
- One available two-year term ending June 30, 2027.
- Contra Costa County Advisory Council on Aging
- One available two-year term ending June 30, 2027.
- Contra Costa Transportation Authority Citizen Advisory Committee
- One available four-year term ending June 30, 2029.
Applications are due by Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Interviews will be held the morning of Tuesday, June 10 and the afternoon of Tuesday, June 17. Appointments will be made June 17 following interviews and terms begin July 1, 2025.
