Engage with local officers and discover how they protect and serve the community
The Danville Police Department welcomes the community to a free Open House event on Saturday, September 28. This family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to explore the inner workings of the local police department and engage directly with the officers serving the Danville community. The Open House is from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 500 La Gonda Way in Danville.
Attendees will enjoy guided tours of the Police Department, interactive scenarios, drone and K9 unit demonstrations, and the chance to get up close and personal with patrol vehicles and equipment. There will also be opportunities to meet and chat with dedicated officers, providing a perfect time for residents to ask questions and learn more about community policing efforts.
This Open House is an excellent way for residents to connect with their local officers, see the facility firsthand, and learn more about the critical role the department plays in maintaining safety in Danville.
