Nine Candidates File to Run for Town Council
Candidates to vie for three available council seats

With the closing of the nomination period, nine candidates have filed to run for three available seats on the Danville Town Council in the November 3, 2020 election. Two of the three incumbents have filed to run, along with seven other candidates.
 
The candidates who have filed their papers are (in order they were filed):

Newell Arnerich (Incumbent)
David Fong
Turner Stanton
PJ Shelton
Nasser Mirzai
Allen Timmons
Kevin Traylor
Mohamed Elsherbini
