Liz Grant Headlines for Valentine’s Day Comedy Night
Theme for this year’s show, ‘It’s not them, it’s us’
Everyone has them, the date that went amazingly well, and the date that went not so well. This Valentine’s Day, come to the Village Theatre & Art Gallery as Liz Grant shares some of her comedic forays into the dating world. Liz Grant headlines the latest ‘Comedy with Liz Grant & Friends. The February 14, 2019 show will have a focus on the lighter side of romance, with the title, ‘It’s not them, it’s us.’
Grant is a winner of the Brian Regan Impression Contest, a writer for George Carlin’s “Laugh.com,” and has opened for comedians such as Dana Carvey, George Lopez and the late Robin Williams. For this show Liz Grant brings the best and worst dating stories bound to make this year’s date night or single’s night out a hilarious one.
Also taking the stage at the February show is veteran comedian Larry “Bubbles” Brown. This San Francisco native returns to the Village Theatre with the same dead pan delivery and self-deprecating humor that landed him several appearances on “Late Night with David Letterman.”
Showtime on Feb. 14, 2019 is 7:30 p.m. at the Village Theatre & Art Gallery, 233 Front St.
Some of the comedians may use some mature themes and minor language in their material; age recommended is 18 and up.
