New Show Brings Holiday Spirit to the Village Theater
Community invited to enjoy a ‘Jingletown Christmas’
The stage at the Village Theatre & Art Gallery will be jolly with holiday cheer as the Theatre Performance Workshop puts on a performance of, “A Very Jingletown Christmas,” written and directed by Jeff Seaberg.
In this wonderful holiday show, the North Pole village of Jingletown celebrates “150 Years of Christmas Cheer” on Christmas Eve with a live holiday show at Jingles Department Store. But Jack Frost has plans to ruin everything!
Santa, his elves and a variety of familiar North Pole characters help save the show and tell a heart-warming story with holiday songs the whole family will enjoy. This performance is intended for all audiences
The show opens at 7:00 p.m. on November 30, 2018, followed by performances at 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. on Saturday December 1, 2018, and closes on December 2, 2018 with a 2:00 p.m. matinee. All shows are at the Village Theatre & Art Gallery, 233 Front St.
In the Theater Performance Workshop, children between the ages of 6 and 14 audition, learn acting techniques, basic storytelling and develop stronger speech skills that will improve their confidence and conquer stage fright.
