November Jazz Room to Feature Four Bay Area Artists
Next show in the popular series set for Nov 10
Come to the Village Theatre & Art Gallery on Nov. 10, 2018 to hear four powerful musical talents take the stage as part of the next show in the very popular The Jazz Room series. The Town of Danville is proud to present The Jazz Room, a concert series hosted by singer and songwriter, Eve Shahoian.
The show is scheduled for 8:00 p.m., November 10, 2018 at the Village Theatre & Art Gallery, 233 Front St. This month’s installment of The Jazz Room will feature four headlining artists from the Bay Area. These include:
Amikaela Gaston has won multiple music awards including Best Jazz Vocalist and Best Debut Artist along with being named Washington D.C.’s best Female Composer in 2006, 2008 and 2011.
Deborah Winters, a member of the Cole Porter Society has performed in major venues across the Bay Area including with Grammy winning jazz pianist Laurence Hobgood.
Shana Dinha in 2008 was awarded The Superior Command Solo Performance from California Music Education Association and in 2015 won the Jazz Search West Competition which was followed by a sold out “Rising Stars” performance at the California Jazz Conservatory in 2017.
Complementing the evening’s roster is Eve Shahoian, who debuted her first album ‘Waiting for You’ in 2009 and has made appearances as a soloist on the Tonight Show, The Mike Douglas Show, Just Kidding, and the San Francisco Press Club.
Accompanying them on stage are Frank Martin on keyboard, Marc Levine on Bass, and Kelly Fasman on drums. Each month The Jazz Room introduces a wide variety of musicians and song-writers from around the globe to Bay Area residents.
