Danville Press Release

Neighborhoods Invited to Join National Night Out
Annual night out against crime set for August 7

Neighborhoods throughout the Town of Danville are invited to join over 38 million households across the world in celebrating National Night Out. National Night Out is sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch.
National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. Together, we are making that happen.
From 6:00 – 9:00 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2018, neighbors throughout Danville and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement.
Along with the traditional outside lights and front porch vigils, Danville celebrates National Night Out by hosting block parties, festivals, cookouts and other various community events with youth activities, visits from Town of Danville Council Members and officers from Danville Police Department.
Join the Town of Danville and National Night Out by hosting a block party for your neighborhood.

To sign up and schedule a visit from Town of Danville personnel, contact Crime Prevention Specialist Amy Ballock at (925) 314-3717 or  Residents can also register for National Night Out at
