Businesses Sought for Scarecrow Stroll
Participants needed for Fall celebration
The Town of Danville is seeking Retail, Restaurant, and Personal Service businesses in downtown Danville to participate in the Scarecrow Stroll. Applications for businesses wishing to take part in the Scarecrow Stroll can be found by visiting www.danville.ca.gov/findthefun. The last day to apply will be September 7, 2022.
Scarecrows will be displayed outside Danville businesses between October 1 and October 31, 2022. Eligible businesses can create their own scarecrow or opt to receive a complimentary scarecrow kit. Participants are encouraged to add personality to their festive figure and show off their fall spirit.
Community members will be able to participate by following a map identifying Scarecrow locations in front of local businesses. Sharing photos of the scarecrows on social media is encouraged by tagging @danvilleparksca and @livelocallydanville for a chance to win prizes.
