Monday Senior Lunch Program
When: Every Monday at Noon starting June 13
Location: Danville Senior Center, 115 East Prospect, Danville
Cost: Ages 60+ $3 suggested donation
Under 60: $6 fee
Prior to lunch service, participants can enjoy puzzles and board games in the Community Hall at the Danville Senior Center. Immediately following lunch will be a free weekly movie. This is a fun, 90 minute class led by a seasoned IT Specialist. Participants learn digital skills and how to use apps, email, photos, Zoom, etc. This program is grant-funded, enrollment is limited to Contra Costa County residents age 60 and older. This activity is a form of exercise that comprises of 36 movements involving all parts of the human body with the purpose of promoting the circulation of blood and strengthening nerves and muscles. Each movement has its own pattern and each pattern is expected to repeat 5 to 10 times. This exercise is expected to help gain strength, coordination, and energy. Pre-registration required. A Day with the Warriors - Summer League Game

Chase Center is hosting the 4th Annual California Classic, a two-day, four-game basketball celebration featuring 2022 NBA Draft picks, second-year pros, and more players competing to land their spot on an NBA roster for the 2022-23 season. Before each game, attendees can take part in multiple fan-friendly activities in Chase Center’s outdoor space, Thrive City, which includes an outdoor basketball court, performances, and more! Cost is per person. Please be sure to sign up for a place for all members of your party. Trip includes round-trip transportation from Danville to the Chase Center and a ticket to see a Warriors and Kings Game. Pre-registration required.
