Mayor's Installation & Community Service Awards
Event to be held December 7 at the Village Theatre

 
   
The Danville Community is invited to join the 40^th Annual Mayor's Installation and Community Service Awards at the Village Theatre (233 Front Street) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. The evening will honor the individuals and organizations that have made a difference in the Town of Danville, followed by the installation of the new Mayor for 2022.   
The event will follow all current COVID-19 safety guidelines, and masks must be worn by all regardless of vaccination status. Community members wishing to watch the event online can view the livestream at www.danville.ca.gov/mayorsinstallation. The Mayor's Installation and Community Service Awards will also be broadcast on the Contra Costa Community Access Comcast Channel 26 and ATT/U-Verse Channel 99 on Thursday, December 9 and Thursday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, December 11 and Saturday, December 18 at 10:00 a.m. and Monday, December 13 and Monday, December 20 at 2:00 p.m.
 
Set for 7:00 p.m. December 7, 2021, the evening will include commendations to outgoing commissioners in 2021, service awards, awards of merit, the Danville Award, swearing-in of new council members, and the installation of a new Mayor and Vice Mayor for 2022.
