Danville Press Release

Calling all Treasure Hunters
Find the fun in the newest Danville hunt

The Danville community is invited to join in the Great Danville Treasure Hunt. Staff from Recreation, Arts, and Community Services have put together a fun semi-virtual event featuring puzzles and clues to lead you on a treasure hunt combining Danville history and fiction. The rumor goes that a railroad worker named Ben Ford found buried treasure and to keep it safe he hid it somewhere in Danville.

Follow the clues to the long-lost treasure and be entered to win amazing raffle prizes. Get started now, as the clues will only be available until March 31, 2021. Afterward, winners will be announced on Friday, April 2, 2021.

The first clue can be found at www.danville.ca.gov/findthefun. Should you have any issues with solving the clues and you need a hint, email recreation@danville.ca.gov.
