Contra Costa County Office of Emergency Services wants to know how it can better prepare you for disasters.They are working to update the local Hazard Mitigation Plan, and you can help by participating in a public meeting and/or short online survey.
The survey is available in English and Spanish, and is open until January 30.
The public planning meetings will provide an opportunity to review the potential hazards that could occur within the County, and will request input for the various mitigation measures intended to eliminate or reduce the negative impact of those hazards. Language translation assistance in Spanish will be provided. The Central County session in Martinez December 4 may be most convenient to Danville residents, but all meetings are open to the public and will contain the same information:
