PG&E Presents Outage Update at Council Meeting

PG&E representatives presented an service update at the September 5 Town Council Meeting. The presentation covered disruption caused by recent outages, and the Council posed questions about future reliability. This presentation was in response to a  letter sent August 15 by Town Manager Joe Calabrigo outlining resident concerns including unpredictable outages, concern for elderly and at-risk populations, impacts on public safety, and general frustration over repeated and unexplained outages. The letter invited PG&E executives to attend an upcoming Town Council meeting, to discuss the outages and hear from residents.

Information was presented by Aaron Johnson, Bay Area Regional Vice President, and Sarah Yoell, Local Government Affairs representative for PG&E. The full video is available online. During the presentations, Councilmembers posed questions to the representatives, raising concerns heard from residents. PG&E encouraged residents to sign up for alerts and review information online at their Safety Action Center
