Town Office Holiday Closure Begins Dec. 26

The Town of Danville will have its holiday closure and mandatory staff furlough from December 26, 2022 through January 2, 2023. Offices will be closed for holiday observances December 26-27 and January 2, and Town staff will be on mandatory furlough December 28–30. Front counter operations at Town facilities -- including the Town Offices and Community Centers -- will not be available December 26 through January 2.

Town Offices will hold normal business hours on Friday, December 23, closing at 1 p.m., and will resume on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at 8 a.m.

Routine and emergency police services will be available throughout the holiday observances and furlough days. The Police Department will have modified front counter hours on the furlough days: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. December 28-29, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. December 30. The Police Department front counter will be closed for the holiday observances December 26-27 and January 2. Residents can request immediate police assistance at any time by calling 911 or 925-820-2144 for non-emergencies.

Limited building inspection services will be available December 28–30, and there will be limited building inspections made by appointment only. For more information about furlough inspection scheduling, visit danville.ca.gov/cap.

Outdoor park facilities will maintain normal operating hours during the holiday closure.
