Danville Senior Center Celebrates 10 Years
Open House Anniversary Event Scheduled for April 28, 2022
The Danville Veterans Memorial Building was originally constructed in 1925 to honor World War I Veterans. It reopened in 2012 after a two-year renovation as the Veterans Memorial Building and Danville Senior Center to serve local Danville seniors and provide a beautiful auditorium for community events. The Danville Senior Center is turning ten this year.
To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the building, the Town of Danville is hosting an open house-style event on Thursday, April 28, from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. The community is invited to celebrate a decade of classes, programs, trips, memories, and friendships. All are welcome to enjoy small bites and conversation. All attendees will receive a raffle ticket, and there will be giveaways for the first 100 to arrive.
