Town Presents the Season Finale of Liz Grant & Friends

Town Presents the Season Finale of Liz Grant & Friends

Father’s Day Weekend Show moves outside to the Town Green

The Town of Danville is pleased to bring Comedy in the Park with Liz Grant & Friends to the Town Green. Headlining this Father’s Day Weekend is comedian and father to a teenager, Dan St. Paul. After turning fifty, he discovered a changing body, “I’m a cylinder now, I can wear a belt anywhere on my body”, a faulty memory, “I have eight pairs of reading glasses and I have no idea where they are”, and a lazy teenager, “I have a bumper sticker that says, ‘My Son’s Just Getting by at Hillside High”. He has been featured on NBC, FOX, Comedy Central ABC, A&E, and VH-1. He has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Leno, Ringo Starr, Natalie Cole, and Hall and Oates, and more. He is currently touring the country with “What’s Funny After 50?” instead of sitting at home and stewing about it.

Also featured this month is a San Francisco favorite and new dad, Arthur Gus. Arthur’s album “Nice Jokes for Smart People”, is on Pandora. The show’s host, Liz Grant, is also a featured comic who has opened for Dana Carvey and Robin Williams.

This show will be held on Friday, June 18th, at the Town Green located at 420 Front Street and starts at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $22.50 per person and will only be available online (no walkups). Seating will be outside on the Town Green as Pod seating. Each Pod can accommodate a group of up to 4 people. Patrons are encouraged to bring chairs and/or blankets to the event.

Some of the comedians may use some mature themes and minor language in their material; the recommended age is 16 and up.
