  1. Buzz Session: Creating Income with Options - CANCELLED

    March 31, 2020, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM @ Senior Center

Presenter: John Lau, LFS Asset Management Stock options are one of the most misunderstood and misused financial vehicles. The popular press and even your friends and family might tell you investing in options could lead to financial ruin. But if you know how to trade them, you may avoid many of the pitfalls. With the proper techniques, you can potentially make income on what I consider ‘blue chip” investments while assuming less risk than you would take on by simply buying shares of stock.

  1. Craft Prep 2020

    March 31, 2020, 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM @ Danville Community Center & Library

Crafty volunteers, 12 and over, are needed to help prepare craft supplies for classes and special events. Prepare and organize craft materials, cut out craft supplies, die cut materials, make copies and sample crafts. There is often a lot of cutting, so if your own scissors are easier to use, please bring them. Wear Clothing that can get dirty with paint, dye, glue, etc. This event sometimes has a waitlist so if you need to cancel please do so as early as you can. It is preferred if you do not sign up for every time slot as these sessions are very popular and we would like as many different volunteers as possible to participate.
