Street Light Replacement Begins
PG&E Crews to start work August 17, 2011
Motorists along El Capitan drive will need to be on the lookout for workers beginning next week as Pacific Gas & Electric begins a light pole replacement project. PG&E will be replacing around 500 of the wooden light poles over the course of the project.
Work will be done Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Work will begin near the Crow Canyon Country Club, but will also encompass Contada Circle and other nearby areas. Cones and no parking signs will mark where the work is ongoing and motorists are encouraged to slow down and drive safely near the PG&E workers. PG&E does not expect the work to create any disruption in gas or electrical services during the project.
Property owners with street lights on their public street frontage will be notified by PG&E prior to replacement of the street light.
