Danville Mayor Karen Stepper, along with members of Town staff, met with nearly two dozen residents Friday morning as part of the monthly Morning with the Mayor program.

As part of the program, Mayor Stepper arranges a meeting on the first Friday of each month at Father's Nature's Restaurant, 172 E. Prospect Ave., where residents can hear about all of the programs, events and happenings in Town, and have the opportunity to get answers to questions, concerns and issues they may have.

At the July meeting, the special guest was Development Services Director Steve Lake.  Lake talked about the building process in Danville, how it is regulated, how it is enforced and how to prepare for an upcoming project.

In addition to Lake, Town Manager Joe Calabrigo spoke on the issue of the Town's budget amid ongoing financial maneuvering in Sacramento and Police Chief Steve Simpkins talked about the recent break-in at the Veterans Memorial Building.

The event was recorded and can be viewed here.
