Going strong for another summer is the Town of Danville's Music in the Park series.  Starting July 9, 2011 Music in the Park features a diverse series of acts taking place at Oak Hill Community Park.

Shows go from 6:00 p.m.  -  8:00p.m..  Residents are encouraged to bring blankets and snacks and come on out to enjoy this great concert series.

Shows scheduled for 2011 are:

July 9th-La Ventana: San Francisco based band cruise to a Spanish flavored mix of R&B, Soul and Rock all influenced with a Top Percussion section. A 9 member line-up can certainly boost a group's power, but nobody overshadows the other.

July 23rd
-Evolution: Journey Tribute: This tribute truly defies description. There are a few Journey tribute bands out there, but this one gives you all of the subtle nuances, inflections and visual gratification of seeing an early Journey show.

August 6th
-Colour my World: Colour My World was formed, in part, to make audiences remember the true impact that one of the best American bands had on the world of music. Chicago is now an American icon and treasure.

August 20th- Whiskey Dawn: Known for their inspiring original music, tight, high-energy performances, and passionate vocals, Whiskey Dawn is THE band to watch on the California scene.
