As part of the Town of Danville’s ongoing SAFETEA-LU pavement rehabilitation project, crews will be working on a section of Camino Tassajara between Crow Canyon Road and Hansen Lane. The work will necessitate the removal of wireless sensors placed in the road surface that provide data to the traffic signals along that stretch of road.

Once the sensors are removed the traffic signals at those intersections will revert to fixed timing, rather than changing based on traffic load information provided by the sensors.  As a result, motorists may see slightly longer than usual wait times at those intersections. Normal traffic signal operations are expected to be restored by the beginning of next week.
