Emergency crews from the Danville Police Department, San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District and PG&E spent several hours on the scene of a gas leak Friday near the intersection of Dutch Mill Dr. and Adagio Dr.  Town of Danville Emergency Services Manager Greg Gilbert said the incident started at 10:45 a.m. Friday morning when a fence contractor accidentally hit a gas line.

PG&E is worked through the afternoon to seal the leak and repair the pipe, finally exiting the scene after 4:00 p.m..  No injuries were reported in the incident.
