Village Theatre sculpture exhibit opens
The art of sculpture is all about the ability to look at your source material, whether it be a block of wood, a chunk of stone or a disparate collection
of wires and see the shape hidden within. Twisted-Chiseled-Fired, the new exhibit at the Village Theatre Art Gallery, 233 Front St., showcases the many different forms sculptures can take, from a monolithic set of keys to a wire frame telling a tale in shadow.
A dozen area artists took part in the new exhibit, which opened with a special reception July 29. Over 120 people visited the gallery for the opening night of the Twisted-Chiseled-Fired, which runs through September 4.
Hours of the new exhibit are:

Saturday: 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
