Registration opens for Danville Summer Programs

With the end of school fast approaching, many Danville parents have begun searching for summer activities for their children.  The Town of Danville announced this week the beginning of registration for a variety of summer programs sponsored by the Town.

Whether it be learning acoustic guitar, playing tennis or exploring the world of dance, the Town of Danville has a myriad of offerings suited to almost any interests. Teens can learn about personal finance, take a course in how to be a good babysitter or even attend sessions designed to help prepare them for making the transition from high school to college.

While class registration began this week, registration for the Town’s many summer camp offerings are filling up fast. Parents who’d like to enroll their child in one of the Town’s camps, such as Drama Camp, Cooking Camp or Science Camp, should act quickly before the camps fill up.

Parents interested in registering their child for a course or a camp can do so by either going online at www.danvillerecguide.com, calling the Town’s Recreation Services Office at 314-3400 or fill out the registration form in the hard copy of the Town’s Summer Activity Guide and fax it to 820-2782.   Registrations can also be dropped off in person or mailed to:
