  2. The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

    September 29, 2018, 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM @ Theatre

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. This play may have some mature themes and minor language.

  3. Eugene O'Neill Foundation Presents: Hughie

September 29, 2018, 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM @ East Bay Regional Parks Eugene O'Neill National Historic Site Tao House & Old Barn Pick Up at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley

Hughie by Eugene O'Neill In the darkest hours of the night, two lonely souls grapple to make sense of their lives, their relationship and their responsibilities to each other. In this radically re-imagined telling of the story, the stage directions come to life and shed new light on the characters and their author. Along with the one-act Hughie, there will be a playful presentation of some of O’Neill greatest stage directions. This production of Hughie will tour Ireland after its Tao House engagement.
