• Social Media

  • Communication plays a vital role in the Town of Danville’s service to and relationship with Town residents.  As new technologies and methods of communication come into wider use, the Town works to incorporate those methods to broaden the range of residents it communicates with and to make the process of communication smoother and more efficient.

Social Media is rapidly becoming one of the most prevalent means of connection among adults.  Facebook and Twitter are utilized by millions of people daily and it continues to grow.

The Town of Danville has adopted these two social media platforms in its effort to have the widest communication possible with residents.  In addition to the Town’s website, press releases and e-News, Facebook and Twitter will be used to disseminated information on Programs, projects, events and happenings here in Danville.
  •  Facebook-Logo

Facebook will be used as a major avenue of communication. Currently the Town has one main page, www.facebook.com/DanvilleCA and two place pages for Danville Police www.facebook.com/DanvilleCAPolice and the Village Theatre www.facebook.com/DanvilleVillageTheatre.

Information, photos, video and announcements will all be posted on the pages to inform residents of all the many things happening in and around Danville.
