The overarching goal of the Transportation Division is to ensure mobility for all modes of travel (automobiles, bicycles and pedestrians), in a manner that is consistent with the goal of maintaining an exceptional quality of life for Danville residents. Transportation activities fall into six broad categories:
TRAFFIX Program. TRAFFIX is a congestion relief program aimed at school-related traffic. A network of TRAFFIX buses serve various elementary, middle, and high schools throughout the San Ramon Valley.
