    Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss  -  March 2, 2018
    The Danville Library and Town of Danville invite you to join the fun and festivities at the sixth annual Dr. Seuss Birthday Party! Don't miss your favorite Dr. Seuss stories, fun and zany crafts, and many more surprises!     Eggstravaganza  -  March 31, 2018
    Hop down to the Danville Community Center for a fun-filled morning of egg hunts, arts and crafts, face painting, and more. Hunts are organized by age so every child has equal opportunity to find eight treasure-filled eggs. The time slot you register for is for the egg-hunt only; families are encouraged to come experience all of the other fun activities within the time slot you signed up for. Bring your camera and take your little one's picture with the Spring Bunny. Event will take place rain or shine.     May the 4th Be With You  -  May 4, 2018
    On May the 4th, the Town of Danville is celebrating all things Star Wars! A free scavenger hunt will start and end at the Danville Community Center anytime between 10:30AM-6:00PM. The first 150 participants to finish will receive a grab bag of Jedi treasures. -Free!

    Two showings of the new Star Wars: The Force Awakens" at the Village Theatre will take place from 1:00-3:30PM and 7:00-9:30PM. Visit www.villagetheatreshows.com. to purchase tickets. 

    A $5 fee is to participate in the Jedi Training activities taking place on the Town Green from 4:00-6:00PM. Costumes are encouraged.  Pre-registration required at  www.danvillerecguide.com
     

    Moonlight Movies  - Fridays: June 15, June 29, July 13, July 27, & August 10, 2018
    Bring the gang down to the Town Green, 400 Front Street, for some fresh air and a great flick. Moonlight Movies offer family-friendly films in a picturesque outdoor setting under the stars. Don't forget your lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks to make it complete. Crafts and activities start at 6:30 PM; show time approximately at 8:15 PM.  FREE!
     

    Spooktacular Celebration - October 25, 2018
    Join us for a ghoulish evening! The festivities will include arts and crafts, face painting, games, trick-or-treating and lots of fall fun! Pre-registration required at  www.danvillerecguide.com
     

    Elf Workshop - December 8-9, 2017    -    December 7-8, 2018
    Children will love this holiday craft workshop. Refreshments will be served while children create hands-on holiday crafts and get a chance to visit and take a photo with Santa! Pre-registration required at  www.danvillerecguide.com
     

    Santa’s Mailbox - November 27-December 8, 2017      
    Santa has a mailbox at the Danville Community Center! Bring your letters to Santa between November 28-December 9, and you will receive a letter in return by December 24! Be sure to include your name and mailing address. - Free!

    Kids Night Out: Held twice every month at the Danville Community Center Kids need a night out, too! Come create arts & crafts, play games, eat a snack and enjoy a movie! Feel free to come dressed up along with the theme for the month!
